Package A – Local Moving Services
(Within 100 km of Ottawa)
- During our free in-home visit, we take an inventory and box count to provide you with a free, accurate estimate and use only one of our moving partners that we feel are best suited. All of our moving partners are locally-owned companies that are already vetted by SRS.

Package B – Local Moving Services + Move Management
(Within 100 km of Ottawa)
We manage the move by having a representative from SRS present on site all day for so you don’t have to be there to:
- Handle unforeseen circumstances;
- Keep the move on schedule, and ensure efficiency by supervising the crew and helping when required;
- Pack up last minute items and collect small parts and hardware from furniture and electronics into a set-up box;
- Bring drinks and snacks for the crew;
- Use our own coolers for your perishable food;
- Assist with moving items that the movers won’t take and plants in our own vehicle;
- Handle any property damages, submit claims promptly and facilitate the process.

Package C – Local Moving Services + Move Management + Pack, Unpack and Set-up
(Within 100 km of Ottawa)
- Partial or full packing service. SRS has its own professional team of packers who also make sure that you are prepared for the movers.
- Do a “first night” set up so you can sleep comfortably in your new home.
- Provide a cleaning service, if required.
- Unpacking and put-away service, which includes the removal of all packing materials.
- Arrange any third-party service required (piano mover, picture and TV hanging, contractors, handymen, auto mechanics, exercise equipment disassembly/reassembly, etc.)

Package D – Finding the Right Moving Company at the Right price Services
LONG DISTANCE MOVING (over 100 km outside of Ottawa and Canada, US or Overseas)
- Obtain three competitive and qualified estimates only from qualified major van lines.
- Explain everything to you including the surcharges, transit protection, policy and procedures.
- Arrange the booking and any additional services required.
- Review final bill of lading.
- Be at your service until your shipment arrives.
